Every member of the network is linked by a high speed connection to the Ace Express central hub Data Processing Centre. As a consignment passes through key points in the transit/delivery process, all data relating to that consignment is transmitted instantaneously to the Data Processing Centre.
Our integrated email system allows instant communication between individual agents and the computers in our central hub, with automatic email or mobile phone alerts to network agents as special delivery requirements or other important developments arise.
Our IT systems are 100% resilient: all information relating to deliveries and collections is backed up simultaneously and transmitted to an off-site data processing centre.
Sophisticated Track & Trace
While the technology that operates our Track & Trace system is highly sophisticated, the process of accessing detailed information on individual consignments is extremely straightforward. One of the major advantages of our system is that it enables customers to track their shipments from point to point, simply by logging on to the Ace Express website.
This tracking process is made possible because we affix a bar-coded label to every pallet; the label is then scanned at key points during the transit/delivery process, and the bar-coded information is transmitted instantaneously to our Data Processing Centre.
