Through our membership of Pall-Ex, the UK's No. 1 network for the distribution of palletised freight, we offer next day delivery throughout the UK, together with daily departures to Europe.
Pall-Ex unites haulage companies such as ourselves to work together co-operatively, and as a result, we are able to distribute our customers' consignments ranging from single pallets to part trailer loads, quickly and very cost effectively.
The Pall-Ex business model operates on a hub and spoke basis. Regionally based member depots such as ours collect freight from customers and transport it to the Pall-Ex transhipment hub. There, the freight is sorted by delivery area and loaded onto the vehicle of the member responsible for the destination zone. The Pall-Ex network now handles up to 10,000 time critical freight consignments daily, backed by a comprehensive tracking system, with scanning at all key points within the collection and distribution process.
Today, the network comprises some 100 fully audited, strategically placed member depots throughout the UK, with combined resources of over 7,500 vehicles and warehousing in excess of 5 million sq ft. Membership is governed by strict codes of practice, and we all pride ourselves on professionalism and dedication to the utmost in customer service.
